Friday My Town Shoot Out - Trees for Earth Day

Here are a few Spring tree shots...I adore trees..but realized I tend to take close up shots rather that many of the whole tree. I will work on that!

I loved the fact that these silver maples were fall colors as they popped out for spring. If you double click on the picture you can see the little glittery edges.

Have a wonderful weekend all, Sarah

I had no idea that silver maples had that edge to their leaves. How lovely. Great photos one and all.

I especially love the delicate close up shots, delicacy not normally what comes to mind when thinking of massive and deeply rooted trees.

Great post.

Hi Sarah,
me too, I love taking close-ups of the trees in my yard. Especially now when they're in bloom. I love that last one of the young leaves!

Love that last shot, with the light on the leaves. Beautiful. The pink blossoms are so lovely, too.

what's the different between the sliver maple and the Canadian one?

I like the close up shots. You can see the detail of the tree that way.

You know I am partial to your work, and love leaves- especially autumn leaves...

I like the pine cone I see below this...

Roots for some reason on the post before yours reminded me of Sleep Hollow, where the guy comes riding out on the horse from hades...but I love trees...
