Friday My Town shoot Out...

Today' theme is.."Your Town's Premier Attraction" by Kent. With out a doubt our city revolves around Lake Coeur d Alene. A very large part of our town's economy comes from tourism and all that happens on and around the lake.

It is large and supports sailing and many other fun summer sports. A short five block walk from our house..that water calls us all year long!

A short five block walk from our house..the lake calls us even in the chilly season!

Lots of water puppies here...

A favorite spot of teens here..jumping off Tubbs Hill!!

Hope you all have a wonderful week!! Namaste, Sarah

This would definitely be my favorite spot all year long too. I am a Lake person all the way. I much prefer lakes to beaches, but that's just me. Love your photos. I took a couple of my lake too for this theme.

Living by a lake rocks! We wouldn't be happy if we weren't living close to the lake. Capturing the sparkles in the top photo looks beautiful! thanks for sharing, Sarah!

Have a wonderful week! Barry and Linda

water whether a lake, an ocean, a mighty river or a meandering stream draws us don't they? I enjoyed the photos and the soft and gentle story.

We aren't on a lake, but right now it's raining so hard maybe we'll have one within the next week or so. I enjoyed your pics; it's a beautiful lake!

I just discovered your site from Friday Shootout list -- you picked next weeks theme? A good choice. I love the boy jumping from the rock. Nice eye and fast finger.

These are beautiful photographs. I like the blog layout too. I am not sure, of course, if you like old photography or that like we used to take over 50 years ago while in Japan, but there is some I did with others at my Sendai-shi, Japan blog.
