Macro Monday..

I played in the pumpkin patch this week. All the delicious twisty vines and curlie cues..wonderful fun to snap. Actually it is an accidental pumpkin patch. We had tossed our store bought pumpkins into the compost pile last Fall and they popped up like crazy this Spring. They have kept on growing, much to our amazement and joy!! So here are a few shots of our volunteers.

Stranglehold...

Isn't he beautiful!!

A bitty baby pumpkin coming along.

Ok..I know... but it is really beautiful, this huge pumpkin flower!

What a lovely gift from mother nature, a surprise pumpkin patch :)

Beautiful photos, Sarah, I'm a HUGE fan of macros, they are my favourites. Especially plants and flowers. I feel like sometimes they are giving me a little peek into another world.

Thankyou for sharing ♥

One year, when we lived in New Mexico, i grew pumpkins for entire neighborhood. i still don't know how it happened, but the back yard was one huge pumpkin patch. What fun! Great photos and thanks for the memories!

I love the first curly que. I'm discovering that I really enjoy macro photos. I didn't even know what macro meant until I started blog hopping. I enjoy your photos very much. They are always so good.
